CHAPTER 4 LAB

By austingndr

I would like explore the Macintosh operating system.  I have used this system before but I don’t know too much about it.  Each time I use it, it seems like I can’t locate certain things I want to do.  Most businesses do not use this program so if I become an IT tech I will not use this platform that much but I still need to know how it works just in case.  To get more familiar with Macintosh today I could search the internet to get a better concept of how this program works.  In the future I could borrow someones computer for period of time, I could buy one, or I could have someone explain this program throughly.ch-4-lab3

I would agree with you I do not use Mac very often and do not know much about it. It would be nice to know a decent amount of info about them to be able to work with them.

like you said when you try to learn the Mac Os X it is really a do-it-yourself trial and error type of deal. You have to explore the OS and really dig around to get use to the OS. Another thing like you said is read online or even go the the local Boarders store and get a Mac book that will explain the OS.

An operating system is the software component of a computer system that is responsible for the management and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of the computer. The operating system acts as a host for applications that are run on the machine. As a host, one of the purposes of an operating system is to handle the details of the operation of the hardware.
